46-year-old Sinan stated that he had never experienced a premature ejaculation problem in his life before, but for the past year, he had been ejaculating very shortly after starting sexual intercourse. In addition, he was experiencing a decline in erection quality. During our consultations, we learned that he had suffered a heart attack 1.5 years ago and had undergone balloon treatment on his coronary vessels. Sinan had been taking medication for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and arrhythmia since that day. In our evaluations, we observed that Sinan was experiencing erectile dysfunction due to the medications he was using. The premature ejaculation problem was also occurring due to erectile dysfunction. We readjusted Sinan’s medications together with his cardiologist. We selected the medications that would have the least impact on his sexual performance. However, Sinan was also experiencing severe performance anxiety due to his sexual problems. Therefore, we also provided psychological support. Achieving a sufficient erection within 3 months, Sinan states that his premature ejaculation problem has also decreased, and he still attends his follow-up appointments regularly.
